From humble beginnings in 1984 sign writing shop windows and refurbishing light box panels, SWS Signage has matured to become a market leader in providing full service signage expertise. We manufacture nearly everything we sell, and provide a wide range of signage services from vehicle signage to indoor and outdoor illuminated signs, right through to 12 meter high pylon signs with full colour, high definition LED screens.

In truth, SWS Signage are more than just a signage shop and more aptly a light engineering firm with a huge variety of signage work that we routinely complete. We regularly work with architects and builders to turn designs into reality. We pride ourselves on our workmanship and commitment to safety.

Over the years, SWS has reinvented itself a number of times to respond to various industry demands. In turn we service a variety of industries and markets. From gaming cabinets in pubs and clubs, to land development billboards and display home fit-outs, pole and large-scale pylon signs with LED screens, SWS has consistently provided solutions to meet scope and budget requirements.

As we move into an increasing digital age, SWS is providing more and more LED screens both for indoor and outdoor use. From bulb-based screens 15 years ago, we have moved quite quickly to high resolution, photo and video capable displays that capture stunning resolution and clarity. As this market segment becomes increasingly relevant, SWS has moved to source our own LED screens. This provides a number of advantages for the customer; namely a reliability of supply, the comfort that spare parts are readily available in our factory, colour consistency with replacement LED modules as well as our commitment to servicing our products long after the sale has completed.

manufacturing

SWS manufactures virtually every aspect of your sign project in-house. We rarely out-source products except for proprietary products such as Braille signage or galvanising. Our dedicated and experienced group of tradespeople are familiar with all aspects of sign manufacturing and compliance. Where necessary or required, we consult with structural engineers to certify plans, drawings, designs, footings, etc. to ensure full compliance with the appropriate building codes.

We have a large factory floor of over 450 square metres with MIG and TIG welding facilities, benders and folders, a full size commercial paint booth, router table, large format printers, vinyl plotters and cutters, laminators, as well as a full size vacuum forming machine.
